It’s a new day
The year was 2008. Blogspot was all the rage. I tried to keep a blog.
It didn’t last.
The year was 2014. WordPress was as old as the hills. This time I tried to keep a *tech* blog.
That didn’t last.
The year is 2020. And I’ve moved on from the idea of a regularly updated blog with an adoring following. Whilst we are at it, let’s bin the CMS too.
So here I am.
In the last 2 months, I’ve left my old job and moved to a new country—all in the midst of a pandemic.

What better way to kickstart a new blog chapter than to make notes of the transition?
